I tend to jump around with projects. Working on the studio, working on painting in the studio, working on digital work to PAY for the studio and working on personal digital projects. So is life.
Spent the holiday (yom kippur) painting some oil paintings and watching movies. Managed to get burnt umber on my new couches. Yay!
I have a volito2 from wacom and it totally rocks with that program.
The secret to painting in painter seems to be setting the opacity really low. It lets you get really down and dirty with the shading. And as a wise-woman once said, "You can never have enough shading."
Now, where is that red cloth?
*nudge*
I don't really do much photography anymore, but most of the things that I've been submitting are photos.
I bought a scanner yesterday and intend to spend some time this week scanning in sketches from my sketch books.
You know.. just in case :)
